Project Engineer

The following duties are associated with the Project Engineer:

1. Responsible for the execution of engineering deliverables
2. Defines deliverables with stakeholders and project manager
3. Prepares the contract scope of work
4. Responsible for technical risk assessment
5. Coordinates Engineering resources
6. Coordinates the overall project design
7. Chairs design team meetings
8. Gives direction to engineering team on priorities
9. Coordinates the creation and management of the Design Basis Memorandum (DBM)
10. Ensures the engineering work is carried out in accordance with the Client’s approved Engineering procedures
11. Coordinates constructability, ergonomics, and logistical reviews
12. Facilitates work package, vendor package, and drawing review sessions
13. Manages equipment vendor contracts
14. Ensures timely and accurate responses to Requests For Information (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), Change In Conditions (CICs) and other technical queries
15. Reports engineering progress and prepares resource forecasts
16. Plans, monitors, and reports on changes to the engineering scope, costs, and schedule
