Project Engineer
The following duties are associated with the Project Engineer:
- Responsible for the execution of engineering deliverables
- Defines deliverables with stakeholders and project manager
- Prepares the contract scope of work
- Responsible for technical risk assessment
- Coordinates Engineering resources
- Coordinates the overall project design
- Chairs design team meetings
- Gives direction to engineering team on priorities
- Coordinates the creation and management of the Design Basis Memorandum (DBM)
- Ensures the engineering work is carried out in accordance with the Client’s approved Engineering procedures
- Coordinates constructability, ergonomics, and logistical reviews
- Facilitates work package, vendor package, and drawing review sessions
- Manages equipment vendor contracts
- Ensures timely and accurate responses to Requests For Information (RFIs), Site Instructions (SIs), Change In Conditions (CICs) and other technical queries
- Reports engineering progress and prepares resource forecasts
- Plans, monitors, and reports on changes to the engineering scope, costs, and schedule
