Cost Estimator

The following duties are associated with the Cost Estimator:

1. Provides cost estimating services including updates to the capital cost estimate and verifies contractor pricing
2. Responsible for the overall quality of the cost estimate
3. Establishes contingency levels commensurate with the level of project definition
4. Forecasts scope, cost, duration of tasks, in accordance with industry standards and best practices
5. Prepares capital cost summaries for the project
6. Prepares the basis of estimate
