Frontline Industrial Solutions has committed to sponsoring the local Saskatoon Section of AACE International for the upcoming 2011 year. Frontline currently has 3 of our employees actively working in the Cost Engineering field and feel that these roles are vital to the success of a project. By committing to sponsoring the Saskatoon Section this year, it will enable the local Section to continue promoting this field throughout multiple industries.
AACE International is dedicated to advancing the profession of cost engineering. The major elements of the cost engineering discipline include estimating, project controls, planning and scheduling, business sciences, and project management. Using these elements, the profession looks to identify and define those areas of business where the principles of cost engineering and cost management can be applied to plan and control resources, assets, costs, profitability, and risk.
AACE International has established itself as a leading educator and third party certification provider for all the elements of the cost engineering discipline.
The local Saskatoon Section was established in 2008 and interest in the Section is strong and growing. Frontline’s corporate sponsorship for the Saskatoon Section will enable the Section to continue to promote AACEI’s vision and mission locally, grow their section membership and provide members with local educational opportunities to continually develop their cost engineering skills.
